Vocca builds AI voice agents that answer patient calls, book and reschedule appointments, and free up time for medical teams. Following our $20M Series A, we are a team of 50+ across Paris and New York, and 250 healthcare organizations use Vocca.
Eliott (CEO) and Hugo (CTO) have more topics to open than time to work on them: the US launch, new verticals, new countries, a finance function to structure. Maxime, our Chief of Staff, turns their priorities into projects, and his own scope is growing fast.
We are opening a Founder Associate internship to give them leverage. You report to Maxime and work on the founders' priorities, in daily contact with the three of them. The role is open to business and engineering profiles.
Your missionTake on the topics Eliott and Hugo cannot dig into themselves and bring each one to a result they can use: a quantified recommendation they can decide on, a model or a process the team works with, or an experiment with measured results.
Expected outcomesAfter 1 month:
You know the product, our customers and how each team works, in France and in the US
You have delivered a first project from start to finish, scoped with Maxime
After 3 months:
The US sales team works from a target account list you built from our usage data, with the enablement material that goes with it
You have presented a first quantified market study to the founders (a new vertical or a new country): sizing, segmentation and a go or no-go recommendation
The Chief of Staff team uses a financial model you built, on unit economics or on an expansion scenario
After 6 months:
You run two or three recurring topics on your own
You have designed and run at least one growth experiment, from hypothesis to a statistical reading of the results, with a recommendation to scale or stop
At least one of your recommendations has become a company decision
You cannot list everything a Founder Associate does. This is what your day-to-day looks like.
Market exploration
Run quantified studies on new verticals and new countries: market sizing, segmentation, go-to-market modeling
Run product and competitive benchmarks
Bring structured recommendations back to the founders
Growth and US sales enablement
Design growth experiments and measure them: hypotheses, metrics, statistical reading of the results
Build target account and call lists for the US team from our usage data
Produce the enablement material the sales team needs
Finance structuring
Build financial models with Maxime: unit economics, expansion scenarios, sensitivity to pricing assumptions
Build the reports used to steer the company
Run the analyses the founders need to make a decision
Public affairs
Follow the regulation of AI in healthcare and the public debate around it, and flag what affects us
Map the public bodies, health authorities and professional organizations that matter for Vocca, in France and in the US
Prepare the founders' meetings with them: briefs, position notes, follow-ups
Founder branding
Make Eliott and Hugo known and listened to in two communities: the healthcare professionals who buy Vocca, and the talent we want to hire
Run their content with them: LinkedIn posts, talks, events
Track what works with each audience and adjust
Ops playbook, depending on your profile
Depending on what you thrive in, business, engineering or something else, you can also take ownership of pieces of our Ops playbook: the process by which we deploy a voice agent in a new clinic, from configuration to go-live.
Map each step and instrument it with the right data
